Minna konnichiwa =) “alsalam alaykum” …..
Today we are going to learn the 9th letter =D am so happy that we were able to make it this far ^^ wish the rest will be easy too ….ganbatte ne
Plz don’t forget to download this file so u can train on writing the letters (u dnt need to download it if u already have it )
http://tutor.lootah.com/docs/level1.doc
Lesson 9 :
The 9th letter is (ذ) “thaal”…. Pronounced “thaa’”….this letter is the same as the pervious letter “daal”, it doesn’t link with other letters that come after it but it links with the letters that come before it…and il show some examples of it =)
As we know, every letter pronunciation get different when we add vowels (fut ha , damma and kasra).
So, if we add “fut ha” to the letter “thaal’” it will be “thaa’ ’” …if we add “damma” it will be “thu” and if we add “kasra” it will be “thi” … better to check this site for the pronunciation =)
http://tutor.lootah.com/alpha.php?langid=01&catid=010109&sndpath=thal.mp3&swfpath=thal.swf&phonetic=Dh%E2l&f=level1.doc
The ways of writing the letter “thaal” :
From the first of the word : its written normally like this (ذ) like in the word (ذيل) “thayl” which means “tail”….and in the word (ذهب) “thahaba” which means “went”… memorize them well =)
In the middle of the word: as I mentioned before, this letter cannot link with the letter that after it but link with the letter before it …as in example in the word (مـــذهـل) “moth hil” which means “amazing”…….and in the word (مــذنــب) “mothnib” which means “guilty”……memorize them well =D
In the end of the word: while its at the end so its just linked to the letter before it …..such as in the word (أخــــذ) “akhath” which means “took” …its easy don’t forget it =)
That’s the end of lesson for today =D I wish it wont be hard because u may be confused between the pervious letter with this letter …but with practice its going to be easy inshaa’alla =D
