Minna konnichiwa =D “alsalam alaykum”
Today we are going to learn the 17th letter in Arabic ^^ its letter “th’aa” ..pronunciation is little hard and its similar to the letter “thaal” so don’t miss between them.

lesson 17:
The 17th letter is the letter “th’aa” pronounced “th’a” …its not like the letter “thaal” so please pay attention =)
As we know, every letter pronunciation get different when we add vowels (fut ha , damma and kasra).
So, if we add “fut ha” to the letter “th’aa” it will be “th’a ’” …if we add “damma” it will be “th’u” and if we add “kasra” it will be “th’i” … better to check this site for the pronunciation =)

The ways of writing the letter “th’aa’” :
From the first of the word : its written like this (ظــــ) like in the word (ظـلام) “th’alaam” which means “darkness” ….and in the word (ظــل) “th’iil” which means “shadow”
In the middle of the word: its written like this (ـظــ) like in the word (مــظـهر) “math’har” which means “appearance”….and In the word (مــنــتــظم) “muntath’im” which means “regular”
In the end of the word: its written like this (ــــظ) like in the word (حــظ) “hath’” which means “luck”…and in the word (يـحـفـظ) “yahfath’” which means “to memorize”
That’s the end of the lesson for today =) i didn’t add a lot of words so you can focus on revising the pervious words too …wish you all good luck
