Minna konnichiwa =D “alsalam alaykum”
Today we are going to learn the seventh letter , its little hard to pronounce too because its similar to the letter “K” ..so to not make mistakes…we write this letter this way “kh” ..the letter is “khaa”
Plz don’t forget to download this file so u can train on writing the letters (u dnt need to download it if u already have it )
http://tutor.lootah.com/docs/level1.doc
lesson 7 :
the seventh letter is (خ) (khaa’)…. pronounced (kha)…as I mentioned the pronunciation isn’t like the letter “K” so please check this site to know the right pronunciation for this letter =)
http://tutor.lootah.com/alpha.php?langid=01&catid=010107&sndpath=kha.mp3&swfpath=kha.swf&phonetic=Kh%E2&f=level1.doc
As we know, every letter pronunciation get different when we add vowels (fut ha , damma and kasra).
So, if we add “fut ha” to the letter “khaa’” it will be “kha’” …if we add “damma” it will be “khu” and if we add “kasra” it will be “khi” … if u get confused , just check the site link above =)
The ways of writing the letter “khaa’’” :
From the first of the word : its written like this (خــــ) like in the word (خـــسارة) “khasara” which means “to lose” ….and in the word (خـــــبز) “khobz” which means “bread”…and in the word (خـــــس) “khas” which means “lettuce” …memorize them well =D
In the middle of the word: its written like this ( ـــخــ) like in the word (بـاخــرة) “bakhira” which means “ship” its easy don’t forget it =)
In the end of the word: its written like this (ــــخ) like in the word (مـــخ) “mokh” which means “brain” memorize it well =)
The letters “jiim” , “haa’ “ and ‘”khaa’” are somehow similar in writing and that may confuse you , but by practice its going to be clear insha’alla =)
It’s the end of the lesson for today =D the next 6 letters gonna be easy to pronounce so be comfortable minna …good luck for you all =D
